Scientific curiosity, enjoyment for reading and writing, ability to learn autonomously and collaboratively, skills of interpersonal communication, analyse and critical reasoning capacity, awareness on social and educative aspects as sustainability and equality, ethical and democratic commitment regarding the different professional areas regarding the 21st century society, which is, by definition, more and more diverse and multicultural.
Previous knowledges
Those who want to continue their studies in the field of social-educational knowledges and/or who want to specialise in any of the topics of the Master’s Degree. This Master’s Degree can also interest students who have graduated in other disciplines who are to perform their professional activity in social-educational contexts and who want to obtain specific education in one of the knowledge fields of this master’s degree.
Languages to use in the educative process and demanded level
One of the objectives given by the Linguistic Normalisation Programmes of the Galician Universities is to promote Galician as the usual communicative, expression and work language of the university community. In this direction, centres, departments, and administrative and service premises, have as use language the Galician language. Similarly, the documents which departments and institutional entities draft: reports, minutes, official communications for announcement boards, subjects study guides, etc…, will be written in Galician. Due to these, students are requested to have enough proficiency in any of the two official languages of the autonomous community of Galicia. In addition, it should be pointed out that the ability to orally and in written communicate in Galician is one of the University of Vigo’s transversal competences.
